Aim
The greatest concern of Mobile Hair Ripon is the health and welfare of you, the client.No services will be performed until the government advice is that it is safe to do so. Even then, it will be vital to ensure that the risk of infection is kept to an absolute minimum.
Mobile Hair Ripon intends to proceed using the following best practice methods.
Basics
The client’s hair must be washed prior to the arrival of the hairdresser.Only one client will be present at any one time and will be wearing a disposable mask and cape provided by Mobile Hair Ripon.
The hairdresser will be wearing a disposable mask, cape, and gloves. The hairdresser will also be wearing a freshly sterilized visor.
Disposable items will be placed into a provided bag at the end of the session for disposal in the clients refuse.
Cleanliness
Equipment used by the hairdresser will be freshly sterilized specifically for the client in question. No equipment will be reused unless the second client is a member of the same household.Wherever possible, individual sachets, tubes, or bottles of required products will be used.
Effects
The cost of hairdressing will increase as following the above methods will involve increases in time both for the hairdressing process and for the sterilization of equipment.The cost of the required PPE is at its highest ever and the materials used are more expensive when for single use too.
In view of this, we are making a minimum additional charge of £2 per visit per client
Mobile Hair Ripon apologies for this additional expense but feels that the health and safety of the client far outweighs any costs involved.

Travel charged at £1.20 per mile each way. Discount for group bookings
Long chemical appointments such as colouring will require a chargeable skin / patch test 48 hours in advance of treatment. In addition, these appointments will require a deposit to book and will only be refundable if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of the appointment.
